good morning
today i wanted to share with you some fun wrapping paper ideas for christmas. each year, i like to have a theme for my wrapping paper. last year i did “brown paper packages tied up with string” and wrapped everything in old paper grocery bags and tied them with a thin red string. this year, i am doing “candy canes” as my theme and adding some fun blue accent letters. you will have to stay tuned to see the future post where i debut my wrapping! [waiting for my christmas tree to get up before i take any christmas photos!]
here are a few fun wrapping ideas from around the web to inspire you!
1. wrap in brown paper and add a paper doily [you can find them at the dollar store!] and tie with a silver ribbon. add personalization with rubber stamps. you can get a kit at any craft store for under $10.
2. sick of buying wrapping paper? try the newspaper! look how classy these gifts look. add candy cane ribbon and personalized tags!
3. another brown paper, but this time with personalized stamps and striped ribbons. love this look.
4. love love love love love this look. striped paper with green ribbon. oh my, i am in love.

i love the stripe one. now to find stripe paper this weekend…. hmmm….
Copying the newspaper idea! But, make sure to check the pieces of paper you are using first, so you don’t accidentally wrap any presents in the obituaries.
